El Viejo was sentenced to life in prison at 17 years old for being the mastermind of a massacre in which 9 people were killed. Now he is a rehabilitated prisoner, transformed into a religious leader. When Erick entered prison, he was the first to help him out and become his conscience. He taught him about the Bible, to believe in God’s word and to have faith. El Viejo became Erick’s spiritual guide on his way to rehabilitation. He helped him overcome and control his temper in order for him to complete his sentence without trouble and prevent him from making the same mistakes that got him in jail in the first place.
